I originally started tattooing on some friends when I was 16 in high school. I knew early on that I wanted to be a tattoo artist. I picked up my first professional job with Junior Purvis in 97’ in a busy shop out of Indianapolis, Indiana. I worked with Junior for about 4 years before relocating up to Chicago Illinois to a “street style” shop. It was after working in Chicago for 5 ½ years that I feel I became a very well-rounded tattoo artist. Eventually I opened up my own shop, NO REGRETS TATTOOS & BODY PIERCING in Champaign Illinois in early 2007. I enjoy doing all different styles of work; from realistic portraiture style, color, and black and grey. I most enjoy doing custom work working 1 on 1 with the ideas from my customers to come up with a unique, one-of-a-kind piece.
My name is Rick Kutch, otherwise known as Ricky Indiana. I'm an Army Veteran, something I'm quite proud of. I use the values of hard work and professionalism that were instilled in me as I served my time in the military directly into my tattoo work ethic. I came into the world of tattooing in 2006. After a short stint in art school, I left the world of collegiate wonder to concentrate on providing for my family. The opportunity to learn to tattoo surfaced after another artist had discovered that I had a pretty good knack for realism and exaggerated illustration. I bit at the chance to use my life long pursuit of art as a real career and have been doing it ever since.
I can tackle any and all styles but my main specialties are black and grey realism, new school styles, color realism, geometric work and dramatic cover ups.
